Everytime I go on vacation I have an impossible time finding my way back to reality. I just wish I could constantly travel to new and exotic places. The familiar just tends to piss me off, routine makes me antsy. I could possibly just have A.D.D. but in my opinion, fantasy is far better than reality.

Acapulco is so god damn breaktakingly gorgeous that it's nearly impossible to take it in within a week. Even though it was my second time there, a part of me feels like 200 times there wouldn't be enough. The weather is perfect, the atmosphere is everything anyone could ask for. Everything about the place is just amazing in general. The best part is, that I was there both times with my some of my best friends in the entire universe. The exact same 5 girls do NOT typically go on spring break together 2 years in a row. Normal groups of girls are too drama filled for that, but I love it that we aren't that way.

With that said, and without getting all existential about Americans sucking at life and wasting space (like I did last year), I can fill you in on some of the weeks highlights.

Saturday: 1:45am plane leaves Chicago, arrives in Mexico City at 6am. 5 hour layover before landing in Acapulco at 11:50, only to find out that the airport lost Jenny's bags. Finally make it to our hotel, and immediately go to the store to buy 40s of Sol (imitation Corona, and straight CLASS) to drink by the pool. 2 for 1 Cuba Libre (Rum & Coke). Double fisting it all afternoon by the pool, got wasted, played ping pong, with Adrian, and our new friends "THE GEEK SQUAD". Keep in mind that none of us got any sleep. We all agreed that we HAD to go to El Alebrije the first night. Alebrije is this club that is literally the size of a football field, with many tables stadium seating style, surrounding the dance floor which also happens to connect right to the bar. After popping an Adderall, I remember drinking, going crazy dancing to Mexican music, and being surrounded by Mexicans. I started dancing with this kid wearing a BMW hat (???), who BARELY spoke English, and he taught me how to actually dance, instead of pretending like Americans do. So eventually I started making out with him. I vaguely remember Jenny, Krause and Heidi telling me they had been invited to go behind the bar to bartend. Next thing I know, Krause and her boyfriend for the evening are sitting next to me and the guy is asking me to convince her to kiss him. The next thing I knew it was time to leave, I said goodbye to my "friend", he gave me his bracelet, and then chased me down for a movie makeout goodbye kiss. Yes my friends, on this night I was "That girl". At least I didnt get yelled at by the Alebrije staff for being "inappropriate" as one of my friends did. In order to protect her identity she will remain nameless. :-P

Sunday: I know I had a lovely hangover. Regardless, we layed by the pool all day. I was super crabby all day from lack of sleep. Didn't end up going out. Jenny, Heidi, and Kathryn went to Mandara. The only important thing from this night is the fact that they ran into Peter, Nick, Rock, and Dave. ALSO, Jenny made out with my previous night's conquest. Can we say HOT POTATO??
