la lala lala lala
Our internet was broken for 3 days and I felt completely out of touch with the world. Im pathetic :-).
Anyways.... things up here are continuing to go really well/get better. Krause came up to visit on Saturday and I had such a blast. I think I sort of forgot how much fun we had last year (and I miss our 16 hour days too ha). We went over to Dave Connelly's bc he had a keg. It was really great to not have to walk to Gunson all the way from Akers and then walk all the way back to Akers when we were wasted. Peter was in town for the weekend from Milwaukee and it was fun to hang out with those guys. For some reason they are beyond amusing to me. I dont really know why but they are entertaining without realizing it and makes me laugh. Plus, those guys are the type of people you can say anything to and they will just go with it. I guess you would have to know them to understand what Im talking about though. Some people are hilarious and don't even really realize it. Come to think of it, many of the people Im friends with are so fucking weird they are funny. I love it. Unless Katie and I are the weird ones and everyone else is normal, we just THINK they are funny but we are crazy. Even if we are just crazy I suppose that's cool too.
It was really good to hang out with MY friends... instead of "so and so's friends from work". I've been hanging out with everyone elses friends lately. It's been great meeting so many new people, but every once in awhile a girl's gotta hang out w/ her buddies and cut it with the bullshit convos (Sometimes Id rather just shut the hell up and be able to chill.) I feel like my friends bring out the best in me and I forget how much I miss all the people who I dont get the chance to see very often this summer. In a few weeks we are all going up to Don's cabin in Gaylord, so that should be fun. I can't wait until welcome week, everything is gonna be all sorts of out of control after that. :-)
