Waiting
Approximately one week after the successful buy-out of Highlands Cove Golf Club by the Old Edwards Hospitality Group, we have yet to actually meet with any of their people, staff or management. Emotions are, as you may imagine, running a little high. I hate corporate work. A lot. Did I mention, I hate corporate work. Business will run as usual until November 3, at which point it will be too late to find another job in this area, which is mostly seasonal. Who am I kidding, it already is a bit late for that. Did I mention, I hate corporate work. I guess if I don't find out anything concrete within the next week, I will preemptively seek other employment. Surprisingly, the job market is wide open, if you look at the nation as a whole.
It isn't so much a depressing kind of thing, so much as frustrating, for the moment my hands are tied and I am forced to sit on my thumbs when I would rather be a bit more.....
