Naming a new blog and a new bike
Hi folks,
I'm wanting to set up a blog to record my epic journey from Vancouver, BC to San Diego, CA. "Epic" because this will be accomplished on a Brooks B-17 saddle (it is green, pretty, and right now, brutally hard, yet oddly comfy) attached to a Fuji Touring bicycle with a lot of crap attached to it so that I can eat and sleep and so on.
I'm not sure what to name it. While contemplating names for the bike, I thought it would be cool to name it more like a ship; normally the names sound like pets or girlfriends. So, you know, "JBB (JB Bicycle) Fools Rush In". I like that, though at least one roommate doesn't seem so keen on it.
Contemplating that while looking at my wordpress control panel I thought that Fools Rush In would make a fairly neato blog title.
Note this post is restricted because my employer isn't aware of this plan. They will be soon, and regrettably, to their keen discomfort, as with my departure their I.T. department will have been reduced by 75% in the course of about six weeks. Chances are decent you know my employer or people working there; please be discreet. Thanks. [Update: set it public after I did tell my employer.]
So, anyway, friends: what do you think? What's a good name for a bike that will support an arguably crazy enterprise, and a blog to record it?
