How are you going to spend your time this summer?

I'm working part time at the summer camp my preschool runs. We are going to go to Disney the first week in June and that's sort of it for plans.

It can be a nice feeling feel fairly open for what opportunities could come. :)

I like my summers 'off', even if I am working a little bit. It's nice to have some nothing time.

Tell Addie to get on the ball. I mean, you can make it happen, you just won't get to spend a ton of money. I spent a LOT of my own money, but some of the money I spend I don't really need to spend. For instance, I easily spend $20 a month developing photos that I take. I like doing this because it's a good vocabulary development activity for the kids to go and talk about the pictures. It's not necessary though, and if I didn't have the income thanks to my husband's job, I wouldn't spend it. I also ask for a lot of things and because I'm in preschool, I get to talk to my parents and build relationships and then they bring me things.

I would look into the job market in LA at the moment. Florida has a reputation of taking anyone off of the street to go teach, but for the past 2 years, we haven't lived up to that reputation and have been laying off teachers and not hiring. You pretty much have to have a teaching degree where I live, and that's still no guarantee.

LA isn't that hot. It's just humid. That's what'll kill you.

Baton Rouge is always looking for teachers because all the schools suck, and they can't keep anyone.

The ghetto is always desperate.
