It isn't really. I'm a privileged lower middle class white kid.
What makes it difficult now is coping with all of the sexist bullshit thats suddenly dawned on me. Its really, really easy to lose faith in humanity.

yeah, I know what you mean. It's nice that my parents could protect me as much as they did when I was growing up, but...now it's dealing with crazy, ignorant people all the time. idk, but I get it

Yeah. I thought about that after I'd already posted. Since I got hit with the feminism stick, that sort of stuff is horribly obvious as well. It drives me up the wall.
