I grew up with reform judaism being a huge part of my life (sup, NFTY) but overtime realized i am definitely an atheist. I believe you can never stop being Jewish, so I consider myself culturally Jewish. I went to my cousin's wedding this weekend and realized I want a Jewish wedding so bad. I don't think my atheist boyfriend would go for it. i don't know if he will even propose but I don't think I'll ever meet a Jewish boy regardless.

tl;dr: i hope to someday have a jewish wedding but only date atheists and i can't see them taking the news well. especially the current bf who i hope to someday marry.

Holy shit NFTY I went to conclaves did you go to conclaves? The culture/religious thing is tired and pertinent.

Me and my ex-catholic partner are both on the atheist to agnostic spectrum, but catholic churches are beautiful and the Jewish ceremony is fun, so we just have to find a pretty catholic church that will let us put a chuppah up.

Drastically different timeline. We were not at Kutz together, but probably know some people in common.
