I decided to start watching the Big Bang Theory from the beginning because previously I'd only seen episodes here and there. I'm about halfway through the first season I think.

I started watching that, but then all the current shows I watch started coming back and I lost track of it. I didn't think it was bad though, I'll probably pick it up again soon.

I'm so behind in a lot of shows that I used to watch, but it's nice going through a sitcom like this because an episode is only like 21 minutes...so much easier then trying to catch up on something like Heroes where the episodes are twice as long AND I have to actually remember what's going on.

Yeah, I get that. I think that's why I put it off first, because it'll be so easy for easy to get through it later.

And Heroes hasn't been worth catching up on in like three years.

Yeah I really don't know if I care enough to start watching Heroes again. At this point it would just be about not wanting to give up halfway through rather than actually enjoying it or wanting to see what happens.

p.s. another thing in the news: longest hockey fight ever

Don't get me wrong, I like fights as much as the next fan, but a) barely a fight and b) why let it go that long? It's almost like, "Oh, the refs aren't stopping us...let's throw a couple more half-hearted jabs and weave a bit." idgi.

dude I know! I was like FOR CRYING OUT LOUD SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING. Hockey fights are so bizarre. It either looks like some sort of bizarre dance with fist-waving or it looks like a competition to see who can remove the most clothing from the other person. And especially when it goes so long like that one...what the hell is the point in drawing it out that long?!

tangential complaint: Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond? Too many names, dude. He spent so much of last season with Lowell that I sort of forgot about him and then when he was up with the big team this year I vaguely remembered him but forgot his name and I was thinking he was Letourneau Leblond, like Letourneau was somehow his first name. And then the first time I heard someone say his full name I was like OHHH YEAH.

Yeah, at this point I'm just calling him PL3, because honestly.
