my mom had something like that going on and it turned out to be a minor infection and resulting swelling. 2 weeks of antibiotics and she was fine. of course there are a million possibilities but i hope that helps somehow.

My uncle is really sick and in the hospital right now. It's really bumming me out because I'd never really thought about my aunts and uncles dying and having to face up to the fact that they will is freaking me out a bit.
