Have questions regarding OTCW 2008?


FAQs

1. Why is it called OTCW this year?
This year, we are going for a new concept. This year’s concept will be a 1 day workshop and 2 days, 1 night camp.

2. Will I be able to stay over after the workshop?
No, you will not be able to stay over after the workshop. All participants are required to go home after the workshop.

3. When is the interview of GLs?
GL interview will be held from 3 Nov 2008 to 21 Nov 2008. More details can be found here.

4. When is the interview for subcomms?
Subcomm interview will be held from 27 Oct to 14 Nov 2008. Please check respective posters for contact person and timings of interview. More details can be found here.

5. What if I’m at TAS? Can I still join OTCW?
Yes, you may. Interviews will be conducted at TAS. Do keep a look out of the posters, as they will contain details of the contact person. You may also do your interview at TP.

6. What if I’m on SIP and I want to join OTCW?
Please either email Geraldine or Ella at tpotcw08@gmail.com and they will inform you of the procedure.

7. What if I’m unable to attend OTCW08?
We would encourage everyone to attend as OTCW will still be a selection process.

8. What if I do not get into GL and want to appeal?
There is only one appeal date which will be on 3 Dec 2008 (tentative). Further details regarding the appeal will be released when the results of successful applicants are out.

9. Can I still try for other departments when my application for my desired department is rejected?
This depends on the number of successful applicants that we have. You may contact the individual heads of the different departments to check if you are still able to.
