no excuses
But once agin its been ages since i have updated, not many ppl read this but with the select few that do they allready know all about with what i am about to say but i will repeat it anyways.
Took a vacation to hawaii june 8th, proposed to kelly on jun 9th ( she said of course ) on my way to hawaii i recieved a call that has & will change my life , i got a full time firefighter job in monroe.
the proposal worked out very well in the baggage claim pickup at the aiport as i came behind her as her take was taking a picture placed a lay around her and as her beautiful face turned around to look at me i broke down in tears of joy that i would see that face everyday for the rest of my life. we hugged, talked for a minute or 2 as i told her how i felt. her still not realizing what was going on i reached into my pocket for the ring as kelly gasp with both hands over her mouth. " Kelly will you marry me " ? " Of Course " was her reply. Everything is going great between us & i couldn't be happier :)
Just got done with my first week of 2 week orientation for the Fire dept. Its awesome and i love it soo much and cant wait to start on a shift which is a sweet set up . imagine 5 days working every other & then having four days off working 24 hour shifts. its a beautiful thing. i think its like 109 days a year :)
during my first we i rode alpha 11 which is the "box " , the " rescue" or the "ambulance" at the central station and went on maybe 8 call through out the week. if i wasn't doing that i was finding out where everyhting is at either in the city or the station. drove a 600 thousand dollar aerial truck which was fun for the 30 feet i did drive just pulling it out of the station to do training. Then went rhough all of the steps to set it up and then played around with it & climbed to the top.
i am sure there is more that i could tell you but as everyone else ends there live journal, i must be on my way. attempt to update sometime soon, buh bye everyone.
