It sucks. It sucks with so much hurt that it's hard to stomach. I was there just a few months ago, and I'm sorry it happened so soon with you too. Nothing will make the pain go away, but know that you have friends here who will continue to be there for you and will provided a shoulder for you for as long as you need.

The weird crappy morbid things I've found is that when I think of my Grandmom, the tears are accompanied with a smile. I had a lot of good memories with her, and that's what makes me the most sad now that she's gone. It's a mixed blessing, that someone was able to have such a profound affect on you and is now no longer physically with us. May the memories that your forged never dull, and may hopefully some of the wisdom or humor or courage that he instilled in you carry on within you.

Please do remember that you have a lot of people who want to make sure you're doing ok. Don't hesitate to call, text, e-mail, or stop by with any of us. There's always times for a friend, especially when your life starts shaking around you.
