New job

First off, I've been watching the Duct Tape Hour on Discovery Channel on the internet, very cool. Duct tape really is the universal every job tool, lmao. Here's the link if anyone else is interested Duct Tape Fun I love Mythbusters, it has to be one of my fave shows evah.

Secondly, "Holy crap-oly!" I seem to be lasting longer than lots of peoples vs the velociraptor, how cool is that? But still not the longest of my f-listers, but at least I'm not the first eaten. Heh heh, that's sparrowwritings so far. Not you any longer winks! :D

Lastly, I totally have a new job! Well, for a while anyways. It is a long term High School Geometry substitute position for a lady who's taking some new mommy leave. It starts next week and will last until some time in December. It's located in a town that is an hour and a half drive from where I live, and the days start at various times, from 7:15 (for meetings) to 7:40, did I mention that I hate mornings? and getting up early? and driving?

So, I told my parents about it and they were all take the job and go stay in one of those extended living places that traveling salesmen use. I was all, huh? So my dad looked a few good ones up that are within a half hour of the school, so I am happy. Love you so much father mine. I'll do that, and not have to worry about a super long drive or unbearable early mornings, just the usual evol morning times, heh.

The extended stay place costs like $35/day + a one time $5 fee for internet (hell YES I'm paying that), and the substitute job pays $115/day, so I end up with about $80/day as my pay. Now take that for about 30 days (only get paid for weekdays, though there are opportunities to make more tutoring after school or working some saturday school), and I get $2400, then - $455 (the weekends) = about $1945 - $5 (my only love, the internet) = $1940! Yays, that means I could pay a few more months worth of bills! (I have evol school loans to pay, plus the usual car, insurance, phone, etc.)

And that's all that is going on here (for now) folks, Buh-Bye!

good news, life
