M and I drove by Red Canyon on scenic highway 12 to Bryce Canyon. Red Canyon is analogous to Bryce such that they both have limestone spires and hoodoos, a term which does not refer to the practice of magical powers, such as voodoo. Hoodoos refer to columns of eccentrically shaped rocks, formed by differential weathering over time.
