Ahhhhh yes the wonderful journal.
SO anyways the show friday was good until the fucking out of town kids decided to be assholes and hurt people. Then a couple of the members from Blood In/Blood Out also were dicks and hurt people as well. (Their drummer was really cool though and they had some good distro, but still...)
It was so good to see Burning Cities again. I love those guys and their music. The new shit is sick!!!!! Horror Film were good as always. Payne and I dubbed them with a new Genre name, and it is.... Sludge Mosh. Yep. The Alliance were good as well. I like that band. I didn't watch Blood In/ Blood Out much. Ares Letum surprised me by being so good. I really liked them.
Then saturday we played the Wesley with old friends in Farewell Mate (I love them) and Chinese Happy (Good guys).
Both shows I felt that we had solid sets, and our new song, "Javelin to the Throat" went over well I felt.
Today was my mom's side family christmas. It was nice to see family that I don't get to see much. Then in about an hour Alana, My neices and my sister are going to see the Spongebob Movie. Yay!
Overall, it has been a good weekend. But Lydia has been sick for the past week, and so has Alana, so that sucks. I have been trying my best to take care of them. During work and shows my parents and hers have been helping so that has been cool.
It was good seeing so many friends that I don't get to see too often.
Our cd will be out in a week or two. Yes! We are just releasing it ourselves (with TMK backing us) then when we record the 4 song EP, that will be on TMK records officially, since we feel the 4 song EP represents our sound to the fullest now, whereas the Full Length was recorded with Geoff.
