ahhh, day off
today was so nice. we did very little, and it felt wonderful.
didn't sleep well last night, but it's okay, because i could be lazy and didn't need to focus.
we rented a movie last night called "a girl thing." a two-tape set (4 hours long) of some showtime movie starring a bunch of cool girls-- stockard channing, rebecca demornay, allison janney, kate capshaw. the first two vignettes were excellent. the second two were kinda lame, or maybe we were just getting bored by then. but overall it was good. the first one was so so good. unexpectedly gay and in such a cute way. elle macpherson and kate capshaw in a lesbian relationship with extended sex scenes. heh. it was just very adorable watching them get together, even if the ending of that particular story was disappointing.
even though we did little this weekend, we also did some good things, so we feel pretty productive. we're currently doing some cleaning and picking up. we got to see jennie and heather on saturday and that was really nice. heather might get an lj. we'll see. :) i hope so, though.
i'm on the brink of something very, very exciting, but i can't talk about it for fear that it will not happen. maybe i'll know something more certainly this time tomorrow, but knowing the party involved, there's a good chance i won't. it's killing me though-- being so close to it and at the same time feeling that it's so precarious.
