whew, it's been a long absence. but now that i've discovered that amy and alyssa have journals too, my interest in LJ has been renewed. ;)
sharon and i talked about rearranging furniture in the apartment this weekend, and somehow we actually got up this morning and did it! we still have a few things to put back into place, but we totally redid the front corner and the former office (now music room!), including moving a million-pound desk on its side from one corner of the apartment to the opposite corner. we were so proud of ourselves.
now we're watching the american president. we so love that movie. i kinda want to go to the bowling center in irvine, but i don't think we have energy to go out.
we saw america's sweethearts last night, and it was pretty cute, but totally cheesy and predictable. nevertheless, it was nice to go out to see a movie, and we did laugh out loud a few times. there were some really amusing lines. julia roberts is cute (not in an "i'm so hot for her" kinda cute way, but a "wow, she's astonishingly down to earth" kind of cute), and she wears some excellent outfits in the movie. soft, baggy sweaters and pants. they got my approval.
anyway, i guess i don't have much to say. i miss mary greatly. she'll be back in about a month... i want another vacation... that's about it.
