An Experiment into the Benign

Life, it put it mildly, has been very sweet. I have a full plate of projects, work continues to be an enjoyment (even among the things i don't enjoy that come with it), and socially it's like MFF is still happening. My stress has been low in most respects and even on downing days something has happened to pick it right back up to make me smile and ( Read more... )

Either your question is too constricting or my knowledge and experience is too limited. I've thought the longest on this question so far and I'm coming up very short on phrasing a reply. This is all because I'm try to remember events, even ones that should stand out. I can give you three things that made me happy but only one (and that's due to it being recently) that gave me a bouncy/joy feeling. These are not in order of significances.

One would be the period encompassing my time working with the new fursonia talked in one of your prior answers. Reasons for being everything just felt right and clicked. I wasn't asking questions and I didn't have to explain. Things were very carefree vs putting on an appearance that is so commonly tied to the online community.
Another would encompass my entire relationship and time with Vince. There were a LOT of bad stops at the end of it but where we are now, and especially for our beginning, things were very good and I was extremely happy. Things became a rye when I didn't have things to do or people to see. I also took on a job that worked for us but ate away at me.
The final one is, again, an encompassing time I spent with a card magician. This was back in my teens when I'd came across Jon (pronounced like Yawn) sitting in the Rose and Crown pub at Epcot. It'd sat there and watch him for hours over multiple trips and he'd remember me each time after the first. Magic in general remains (and was before) a large fascination for me. The former on how to perform tricks, now having learned I don't have the skill for it, the latter enjoying watching the hold and illusion it has over people and their reactions. Having spent a large amount of time around him, being captivated as his hand manipulated the cards and the deck, I'd learned how a number of his tricks were performed and learned how to look for those illusions. But there were always a few that I'm glad I never figured out :)
