The President sure threw a lot of money toward his buddy  http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/decision2012/gores-green-investments/2012/10/10/03612904-1340-11e2-ba83-a7a396e6b2a7_graphic.html
Fourteen green-tech firms in which Gore invested received or directly benefited from more than $2.5 billion in loans, grants and tax breaks, part of President Obama’s historic push to seed a U.S. renewable-energy industry with public money.

If Al Gore is an enviro expert you think he would know that when it is summer at the north pole it is winter at the south pole.  Winter at the south pole goes from June through to September, six months of darkness
He didn't       http://toyyoda.livejournal.com/19171.html

In watching the Live Earth TV show they showed a rock & roll band playing outside in Antarctica.

Outside,
in bright sunlight,
in July.

Summer and winter are opposite north and south of the equator.

Part of "going Green" is a green screen ?        In Antarctica, from June through to September, six months of darkness.

Then the rest of the show was a concert trying to sell light bulbs,     I think,      maybe,      they were selling something.
It was not easy to know what they were selling, a lot of people yelling.

Al Gore invented his own kind of religion.
The kind of religion that declares an end to the world, takes lots of peoples money, to a nice retirement someplace.

And I thought selling the half pound sack of penny's (that is 72 penny's) for 4 easy payments of $3.49 was a brilliant idea.

Sure the planet needs some clean up. It took a long time to mess it up. Why the hurry to clean it up ? So he can enjoy the money while he is still young enough to enjoy it.
It is easy on the internet to get the weather report for July 7 2007 in Antarctica.
The band was not even wearing gloves.
The guitars would be out of tune and breaking strings. The drum skins would split.
