In-Game Character Information
Name: Larxene (no last name)
Series: Kingdom Hearts
Age: 17
Personality:
Larxene sees the world as her toy, fit for her amusement and basic sustenance. She enjoys watching people, figuring out what makes them tick by pulling them apart. It’s not that she has skewed morals, but rather that she’s amoral; the thoughts, feelings and actions on other have no effect on her worldview. But she doesn’t discriminate - she shares her taunts and mockery as well as her teasing flirtation around equally. She lives to be amused - as soon as she tires of her toys, she stops playing with them. She hates the rain, because it makes her bones ache as well as messes with her magic, and she’ll refuse to go outside if it’s wet, no matter what the reason. She scares the crap out of people, but there’s still something alluring about her personality that’s hard to ignore.
Background:
No one’s entirely sure where Larxene came from. Including Larxene. She grew up in an orphanage, which treated her as well as an orphanage can treat such an entirely self-involved child. She was hit by lightning when she was around three, and it’s not certain if this caused her magic to mess around with all electrical implements (more so than most magic), or if it’s because of this tendency that she got hit with lightning in the first place.
She never physically hurt any of the other children at the orphanage, but she enjoyed toying with them, telling horror stories one moment and being kindly and motherly the next. She’s never had a close friend in her life, and the simple fact is that she has no interest in having close relations, and probably never will. As opposed to growing out of some traumatic childhood event, her apathy towards anything that doesn’t interest or amuse her is simply who she is.
Blood: Unknown.
Preferred House: Slytherin
Why you think they belong in this house? Because Larxene is cunning and manipulative, and the Slytherins are probably the only ones in the school who could possibly deal with her. School Year: 7
Quidditch Position: Quidditch players must go on despite the weather. Despite the potential amusement of messing a game up for her team, Larxene won’t risk getting caught in the rain.
Would you like the character to possibly get a higher position? God. Um…yes, just because I think that Larxene as a prefect would be so incredibly lulzy.
Roleplay Samples
Journal Sample: (first person)
Hmm. All in all, a fairly boring day, although some Hufflepuff did explode his cauldron in Potions and turned out and nearly lost his arm. Perhaps if he had lost the arm, I’d be a little more amused. Of course, there was the obligatory messing with little Sora from Gryffindor, but that’s just so easy, it‘s boring. Poor angelface never had a chance. I’d feel sorry for the brat, if I cared.
Roleplay Sample: (third person)
Larxene stretched indolently, enjoying the nervous eyes on her as she uncurled from her armchair in the Common Room and sauntered over to the exit. On her way, a trembling first year caught her eye. Tutting softly, she about-turned and crouched next to him, smiling gently.
“Well, now. That’s no way for a Slytherin to behave, is it?” she asked kindly. The boy was a half-blood, and had been an outcast from the moment he sat down at the table. She was a seventh year, and should look out for the young ones now, right?
“N-no,” he replied, shaking slightly.
Larxene couldn’t imagine why he would be so afraid.
“Well, perhaps you don’t belong here?” She cocked her head to the side and smiled a little wider, a little crueller. “After all, it’s what everyone’s thinking, right?” The boy shivered and she smirked. “You don’t belong here, angel face, you know it, I know it and they know. But it’s all right,” She straightened and stretched once again, arching her back slightly. “I’m sure you’re not completely useless.”
After all , she mused as she left the room. That was vaguely amusing.
