Fear...
Imagine this.
Suddenly, you wake up in a dark room. There is no light--none--and you can see nothing. All there is is the warmth of a blanket atop you and the fimness of a matress beneath you. You have no recollection of where you are. Absolute darkness. This can't be my dorm room, you think--there's too little light, even for the middle of the night. You're in a strange place, in a strange bed, with no clue as to how you got there.
As your eyes begin to focus, suddenly, you see a faint line of light, horizontal, above and beyond your feet. Then you remember, the ambient light from outside comes into your trailer through cracks where the wall meets the ceiling. You look up and see a faint light through the cracks of your bedroom door... You remember that you're at your house.
Yeah, add fourty years and that could have been a heart attack.
