2 Things

For the organized among you that use Mac OS and iCal-type organizers, I've switched from Apple iCal to Even-t, which is almost identical to iCal but with increased functionality. Most notably, it has a year-view, which although it is not the linear timeline zoom life planner I find myself wishing for (and may one day write) it is still useful. It's still in Beta, so it's not without flaws, but it also has attachments, which I have found it very useful to simply link my course syllabae and other materials directly to the calendar event. It uses .ics files, so it's pretty easy to import your iCal. One day I'll figure out how to make both programs refer to one .ics file. Publish/subscription might work, but it seems like a lot of effort.

Secondly, why did I register for Theories of Personality? Other than being a required course for my major, that is. It's exactly the kind of speculative, philosophical armchair science I hate most. Today's class was excruciating, it took ever ounce of my will to resist tearing apart everything the professor said. Patience, Owen, keep your head down and pretend to be brainwashed long enough to get an A.
