♥ an actor with the skill to play crazy cast to play a crazy person ♥
Toyohara is portraying the crazy duck in NHK's upcoming remake of Shinsengumi Keppuroku (at least, I think it's a remake... still need to parse the full article). Looks like it starts on 3 April and runs for 12 episodes.
Can I handle Toyohara as a Mibu wolf??? Good casting... he should be wild & insane as Serizawa. (I'd die if Tanihara was in the same cast!)

Hijikata = Nagai Masaru
Kondo = Takuma Takayuki
Okita = Tsujimoto Yuki (was also in Byakkotai)
O-Miyo = Maeda Aki
Yamazaki = Kato Toranosuke (so nasty in "News sokuho wa nagareta"!)
Kichibee (?) = Tokui Yu
Yutaka (or is it Toyo or ?) = Ito Eiko
Katsura = Nomura Hironobu
Hirosawa = Saito Satoru
Matsudaira Katamori = Hayashi Yasufumi
O-Ume = Inoue Waka
Serizawa = Toyohara Kosuke
Konoike = Kondo Masaomi
oi... might as well create the dramawiki page for it... link
bleh... I have a couple more pages to create tomorrow for a couple more dramas Toyohara's going to be in next month and a series in March, both on WOWOW (if I remember, the one next month, Doki, stars Matsuda Ryuhei). I hate wiki editing functions, maybe even more because I'm not exactly fluent in kanji reading (like, so little as to be not at all... I'll be dead before I can learn even the basic 2000!).
