Watching movies is a very essential outlet for me, more so when I arrived in Australia. I remember what I watched when I had an argument with my Mum, or was depressed about my job, my gradnmother's death, or just when with friends. Well, I've rarely watched movies with anyone these days, but anyway.

Watched District 9 today. I've seen various assortments of sci-fi and alien movies, but this one definitely takes the cake. After the movie I just sat there with pulled unruly hair and a stunned look on my face. In the best possible way. It's an incredible social commentary, violent, abrupt and hard to swallow. At the end of it all there's nothing impressive about loud gunshots anymore, you just want it to stop.

And I know that there are plans to make a sequel, but that would ruin the whole premise, won't it? Like S. Darko, who'd watch that?

Sharlto Copley was the best! District 9 in a nutshell: The Office. With Aliens. Wikus van de Merwe even reminds me of Michael Scott's awkward character. He even looks like Steve Carrell!

Next movie to watch our for: Ponyo!

If guardian angels were real, mine must have been working overtime. Faith is something I'm lacking of, and would wish to have. But I'm thankful, still.

I reckon I'd still be here by May, so part of my agenda is to register at the RP Embassy as an Absentee Voter. I'm still filo, after all. For some strange reason, I'm getting a weird case of jologs. More so everyday.

RAT EATING PLANTS IN PALAWAN!

And they named it after David Attenborough!

AWESOME!

On the pre-show movie program, I am reminded of The Day After Tomorrow. Yihee. Good times. Movies and friends and uhm, significant others - they make up for great memories that you keep and recall whenever you're down. Or troubled. Or you need a helping hand.

I'm going psycho.
