Ahh, so today was the first day of my new job!
It started off a bit rocky because the day before while I was hanging out with Duane my car stalled twice while I was driving. All I could think was "I have been jobless for ten weeks and NOW you decide to act up!" I actually made it to work and down to my grandfathers shop safely the next day. It stalled a couple more times but I made it. He says he thinks he knows what it is and can fix it. For now I am driving the Midas truck. It is kinda crappy but it runs well and will get me to work, that is all I care about.
Anyway my new job went well today. I got to make the lunch food for all the orders. I did all the baking and stuff. So I think all that stuff I picked up pretty fast. Soon I will start with my other managerial duties. They gave me my work phone. I have no clue how to use it though. It is a Sprint Treo Palm. It does stuff...not sure what. He said my mail will come here. I also got my desk and computer. My computer is on one corner of the desk, then there is a huge blank space where like two other people could sit. I am not sure how to make use of this space. Maybe a nap mat. I also have a bunch of keys and security cards. None of which I know what to do with. Security numbers...ugh. But I will get it! I really like the job, I had a good time today and I really like the people I work with. Here is hopin!
