I'm on the pill since I was fifteen...let me count...that's more than seven years and I've always been absolutely fine (my girlfriends as well and they're taking the shit for the exact same amount of time). Don't worry, your friend was an absolute excepion to the rule!

My sis and I often say lol out loud when we're mocking silly teenyboppers and/or ourselves.

That's really weird. What do girls in the UK usually use as contraception? It's totally normal for girls to go on the pill over here. Doctors recommend it like crazy. Of course there's hormones in it but there's about a thousand different pills which have different ingredients and different amounts of hormones and stuff. You can basically try them all until you find the one that's best for you. I think my sister went through three or four different brands while I found the right one right away.

Umm... Unfortunately, the girls here aren't really into thinking about contraception. There's a lot of slappers here that like to sleep around and use no protection. Hence the UK having the highest rate for teenage pregnancies anywhere in Europe... So. Embarrassing.

I'm off to the docs again tomorrow, so I'll see what they have to say. I don't think they'll change them, but I think they'll give me tablets for water retention because my feet are the size of balloons lol!
