My Review: While it has all the players and plot for the makings of a great movie, I was a tad disappointed. Get Smart starts out strong in the beginning, with jokes a plenty. Even Dwayne Johnson's role gets a few laughs from his viewers, who knew The Rock could shed his cloak of pain and bring out giggles? But about half way into the movie, things begin to get more about action and violence and less about slapstick comedy. I mean I know its a knock off of James Bond movies but Get Smart was about a really silly agent. At least from the reruns I watched of the original series it was. My mom, who grew up with Maxwell Smart, was extremely bummed. Never the less Steve Carrell still brings his A-game to the table and wraps up 2008's Get Smart with a review from me giving it 3 stars out of five.
