You can't choose to not be ignorant, you can only choose the level of ignorance you live your life with.
One could know everything in the world, and have everything in the world, and one would still be plagued by a shred of ignorance.
I just stumbled upon this "realization" not that long ago.
I got tired of trying or pretending to be smart.
I'm not a smart guy, I can wise at times thats it.
Not much more I can add to all o that.
Live life its fun sometimes.

Stare to much at the big picture and you realise how minute a detail you realy are.
Delve to far into detail, and find yourself snared by the hooks of infinite complexity.
You got tired of pretending to be smart, I grew tired of evaluating myself. This avoids a lazy state of satisfaction and the frustations of dissatisfaction. I just try to strive understand and enjoy.
The gift of life is in out ability to shape it as we will.

And that will never happen.
To me it only takes one persons thoughts, touch, words, even advice to let me know that I am something/someone, that I in fact am more then meets most peoples eyes. Even my own.
I could sit down all day and list to myself every doubt and fear that lurks in the dark areas of my mind, I could just pick at how much of a man I am not and might never be.
But all of that is a losing battle its like a fist fight with air. You will not and cannot win.

This is very true, but why play with matches in a house soaked in gasoline?
We can shape our life's to what ever we want.
But we need to try to shape it to what we want, instead of laying down and taking it as it is.
