So, after vacation is over--what's left? I got too much sun the first few days, then luckily it rained for the rest of the week. I have no regrets. Except that I couldn't take 2 weeks. That would've really been nice. One day...one day...I think I have to have my 3 year anniversary before I get that kind of luxury. If I just hold out for 9 more months, it'll (maybe) be mine. Holy shit. Let's move on.
Vacation was amazing, but let's recap: When I'm with family, I miss my space, my home, my plant, my bed, my friends, my routine. When I'm here, I miss my family. I always miss Tennessee. I'm doomed. But at this point, it feels as if there's something about missing that gives me some sort of superhuman strength and fuel. Who knows?
At any rate, now that vacation's over, I just want to be the holidays already. What good is October? And most of November? (Beside the weather.) Things to look forward to include--in chronological order: getting a roommate (and a subsequent kitty!!!!!), labor day, my boss' bachelorette party and upcoming nuptials, Kings Dominion Day, my birthday, (maybe) another wedding/(maybe) going to Providence for work, Thanksgiving, Christmas! Everything good fits on just a few lines.
In other news, I got a dining room table (even though I don't have a dining room) and a new coffee table. It all looks good from where I sit. I'm gonna go eat some sour patch kids...
