Facepalm
For several years, pretty much since I got the PS2 and started buying DVDs, I have been searching for the best scary movie out there. I'm not particularly interested in the horror sub-genre. I just always found it weird that someone who's not interested in horror is rarely spooked, even during the most commonly cited "scariest movies ever." So maybe twice a year, I find a terrifying flick, (again, paranormal only, no human-on-human violence) and give it a run. Only "Insidious" the original Japanese "Ringu" have ever given me much trouble.
I should not have watched Paranormal Activity 3.
What can I say, the first one was okay but not great, and the second got such disappointing reviews I never tried it. 3 was listed as one of the scariest movies of all time by some lists that list such things. It . . . worked.
