Just finished Tactics (25 episodes) today with my brother :). It was a fun anime to watch that brought many waves of hilarity, emo-ness, and confusion. It's about a folklorist/writer, Kantarou who can see demons, that exorcisms/befriending them. In the beginning we learn of how he wants to befriend and unseal the demon eating goblin (later known as Haruka) to become stronger. The anime focuses mostly on Haruka and Kantarou's odd relationship developing (yay for shonen ai undertones) which I thoroughly enjoyed.
It's set back in the early 1900's which is a plus because I loved studying Japanese History P: Muchan had to be the most adorable little monster/demon I have ever seen (I can see why Tsugino was so jealous, hah). The art was spot on except the 12 year olds were like 2 feet tall.
The downfall is, is that the anime left room for more and I don't think they're going to add a second season. Such as the bad guys are STILL out to get Haruka to turn him into the full-fledged demon eating goblin and they never explained Kantarou's scar (I assume it's from a demon or it's like an ancestral mark). So... you guessed it, I'll be expanding my manga collection a little more XD;
