Here's an announcement I've wanted to make for awhile now: The Joe Griffin album is done!
The official release date for "Rough Cut Love" is September 3, 2006, but the CDs have arrived at Toxic Bag Records' palatial Chicago headquarters and are available now.
"Rough Cut Love" is 10 songs, 40 minutes of music (plus bonus mp3s). A few old tunes (played in some new ways) and a few new ones. The CD features performances by longtime co-conspirators John Toljanic, Peter Griffin, Tim Griffin and Matt Kern, as well as guest appearances by Ron Barnes, Brian Posdal and John Hasbrouck. Cover art for the CD was created by Timothy Bradstreet.
To order "Rough Cut Love" visit the Toxic Bag Records online store at http://toxicbag.com/aisle9.htm. We'll also be putting it on iTunes and CDBaby.com within a couple of weeks, and of course you can buy a CD at one of my shows!
