I'm back in black!
To anyone who's been going "OMG WHERE'S BRI?!" here's your answer...
My laptop has been on the fritz for almost a month now, and so I went to Mel's house on Monday to see if she and Si could fix it -- so we wiped the harddrive and scrubbed it too, tried reinstalling Windows XP but my laptop was rejecting it every way we tried.
Defeated, I went home and decided to hunt for a new OS. Turns out it would run me at least $90, but I'd been planning on getting a new laptop anyway. My mom called me this morning and decided to let me use her Best Buy card toward a new laptop.
So... now I have a new laptop and will be paying it off for a while. But once I am able to I'm gonna buy a new OS for Dean 1.0 and get it running before giving it to my mom or sister for their own use.
It's nice to be back, to be able to use Firefox, and to have 300GB of RAM. But I lost the serial code for my version of Photoshop and now I have none.
...Mel? Help?
