Mostly i have been wondering about all the religions and finding out which one is actually the real thing. What drives a belief in God? For years I was told to go to church, but why? God had no existence in my life. I've always thought people just made up the whole religion thing just to keep themselves sane and give themselves a reason to live, something to believe in. It's just really hard to believe in "jesus christ" and "god" when there’s so many other religions and beliefs. It just seems stupid. Like the whole world is believing in something else so there’s a lot of people who are going to go to hell, (because most religions basically say that if you don’t believe it then you'll go to hell) Ok, so let’s say someone did write the bible and it all happen, don’t you think some of the pages would be tore out or that there might be mistakes in it? It would not be in perfect shape, and over the years of copying and copying in different languages and versions don’t you think things could become switched around? One of the more controversial ideas described in the Bible is the idea that God has existed forever and is a perfect being who does not ever make any mistakes or regret anything. So, an infinite number of years ago, God, out of nowhere, decided to create humans. There was no previous interest for him to do so before. Before, he was content with animals. If he were really perfect, I think he would have been content to live alone for all eternity. Even so, God decided to create man. Ok, ok I can live with that. So, God created man and eventually he sent his only son to hook us up with some forgiveness. He decided Neanderthals weren’t worth the trouble way back when, but these backstabbing sex-makers in Israel were. It was his decision, really. However, according to Bible history, as I have learned it, the devil existed from the time of good. When, in all the time that God existed, did he find time to create the Devil? In this accord, perhaps we should give the Devil some consideration as a nationally recognized faith. But, as you may know, sin began when Adam and Eve pulled an apple from the tree in the Garden of Eden. Satan, or the Devil, under the presumption that he had existed as long as God, had all of history as we know and don’t know to come up with a plan to corrupt humans [but didn’t humans have to exist in order to become angels? In the Devil’s case, he became an angel and committed sin, which is supposedly impossible for angels to do in the first place]. and also the bible says so many things that i dont know god would do... for example, if a person commits suicide they would go staight to hell, why would they go straight to hell when obviously god gave them more than they could handle, which he said he never will do anyway. and why would he send someone to hell for not believing in him, its so hard to believe in one religon when theres so much controversal beliefs and 'proof'. All these miracles that have supposedly happen, why dont they happen anymore? why does he allow people to die when they have so much going for them and so much to live for but let the fucking druggie survive 817253817 overdoses?! I just am really confused to a point where i really want to know the truth because if there is a god, and i have proof and knew it all happen and was explained it, i would have no problem believing it and telling other people about it. But i can’t help but think every time im dragged to church, what if there wrong? Look at the effect it already has on some of these people. Worshipping him, dedicating there whole life to him, all these little wwjd bracelets and all these Christian children. They sit there in church and preach what they "know" but what they should be preaching if they really want to save people is proof.

Religion Keeps People Sane rodillon April 17 2005, 01:11:03 UTC
You were actually correct about religion being used to keep people sane. People need to be able to rationalize or explain why things are the way they are. The basic concept behind "God" is to maintain order. If we didn't have religion 2,000 years ago, human society would've fallen into chaos.

There are different versions of God, Allah, or some supernatural deity. Technically, according to my research, Heaven and Hell exist, but it's not in the way you think. It's more of a practical joke set up so that people would fear it and it would intimidate them into desirable behavior that can be managed. However, there's a backdoor that explains what Heaven and Hell actually is. It's really just imagined. There are no burning Hellfires with Satan running around with a pitchfork or anything like that. I have that on very good authority :).

If you actually look at the Bible, it was written in such a way that every 7th character reveals a name or event that is going to happen. The Bible was written in such a matter to show that even though it's outdated, it was written complexly and shouldn't be taken lightly as a mere manuscript. That's Mother Earth's signature indicating her influence when she designed that book thousands of years ago.

The word "Miracle" is a subjective term. Some people expect something grandiose. As a matter of fact, when I write my Journals, I cite proof all the time. However, the most noticeable ones are where it's a direct showing of straight facts and in black and white. That's what people remember. When I do my research, I'm always sifting through data and only choosing the best of the best that really stands out. When I transcribe data, I see it every little thing.

However, I know that if I posted every scrap of data, it would just dilute my information. So there are small "miracles" performed everyday but they go unnoticed. In "Bruce Almighty," Morgan Freeman playing talks about what exactly a miracle is.

There are all kinds of miracles. If you're expecting God to come down and part the sea, that's a huge miracle. Bear in mind that when you read the Bible a lot of stories get fudged over after time. For example, I know that if my Journal Entries were ever converted into a new Bible for the new millenium, 2,000 years from now, someone may take one of these passages literally where I was just joking around. However, they'll take it literally.

That's why you have to be careful with rumors. If you pass on a rumor and it runs through 20 people, it will sound totally different from what was originally said.

If you really want to find out though, I suggest you read my Journal Entries from March 25, 2005 and keep up and you'll see that my research is sound. "God" is conceptual and more of a software program that's running and managing the masses.

You don't have to go to church. Even before I made any of these discoveries in the last year, I never went to church because I thought a lot of people were fake and just going through the motions. They mouth all the worlds, but they don't practice what they preach.

You don't need to worship God. It's really more of a joke. Just be happy with yourself.
