[Chapter IV]The moon's light illuminated the bedroom. Kai was sitting on his bed.
He hears a Katy Perry song play outside his window;
I wanna see your peacock, cock, cock, your peacock, cock Your peacock, cock, cock, your peacock I wanna see your peacock, cock, cock, your peacock, cock Your peacock, cock, cock, your peacock
He gets on his feet, rushes to the window and looks out, his eyes meet a pair of black obsidian ones. It was Aoi standing down on the lawn with a playful smirk plastered on his face.
Are you brave enough to let me see your peacock? What you're waiting for, it's time for you to show it off Don't be a shy kinda guy, I'll bet it's beautiful Come on, baby, let me see what you're hiding underneath
The Katy Perry song still plays in the background. All of a sudden a strong wind blows, Kai closes his eyes tight and then he finds himself being bent over a table, naked.
He feels a pair of hands holding his hips firmly. He gulps and waits what's next to come.
He can hear the other boy breathing next to his ear and then he hears his sensei say
"Yutaka".
Wait. What. Did Kai just hear his sensei's voice?
"Yutaka! Yutaka!"
"Huh?"
"YUTAKA!"
"What?!" Kai sits up straight, eyes wide. Twenty five pairs of eyes were staring right at him. He shifts nervously in his place.
“Am I boring you?!" His sensei says putting her hands on her hips.
Yutaka looks down ashamed. Recently he wasn’t the most attentive student in class.
"This should be the last time I catch you slacking off or else I'll be forced to punish you. You understand?"
"Yes sensei. I'm sorry, it won't happen again."
"Good. Now where was I..." the teacher continued with the lesson.
For the past few weeks Kai couldn't stop thinking about the mishap that happened in the nurse's room. He tried his best to concentrate on the current lesson rather than having thoughts or to be more precise fantasies about a certain raven but failed miserably to do so. Kai sighed. He knew he had to do something or else it would affect his grades. The only sensible thing he could think of doing was to talk with the person who was the source of all this but with Reita lately being around him all the time that wasn't quite possible. Reita was a nice guy but at times he could go a bit over board with things. Like now.
Kai looked to his right in the direction where the said person was seated. Reita was resting his chin on one hand and was trying his best to stay awake. By the end of the class he assumed his friend would fall asleep. He smirked inwardly and then decided to listen to what his sensei was saying.
"That's all for today class. Now I'm going to make an announcement. As you all know, our school's Cultural festival will be held in two months, this time we'll be having a few special guests from other countries so the principal wants you all to start preparations earlier than usual. It'll be the same as always, it'll last for an entire day and every class will be doing something different. According to the list our Principal made your class will be assigned to cook food for 4500 people."
Everyone gasped at the number of people they had to cook for.
"4500 is a big amount so maybe we could have food stalls? You're supposed to prepare a Menu of any cuisine. Yutaka you're in charge of this class." As their sensei said that the bell rang.
Kai took a quick glance at his friend and his assumption happened to be right. Reita was drooling all over his desk.
It was now or never. Kai stood up and made a break for it. He dashed through the crowd, almost knocking him self and the others down. He headed towards the section of the school where he assumed Aoi's class to be. Not knowing that there was someone else walking on the other side of a turn, Kai knocked the other person down.
"I'm so sorry!" Kai hurriedly apologized.
Recognizing the other person immediately when he faced him, Kai put his hand forward to help him stand up.
There was Uruha sprawled on the floor.
"It's you!" Both boys said in unison. Kai said it in relief while Uruha had an accusing tone to his.
"You really should watch where you're going. What are you doing here anyway?" Uruha slapped at Kai's hand and got up on his own.
"Takashima-san you see I wanted to talk to Shiroyama-san but now that I met you here I won’t have to. Could you please tell him to come see me tomorrow in Sakura Park at 4:00 pm?”
“Sure I will and Seaweed hair-san, call me Uruha. Don’t add the’ -san’.” The brunet crossed his arms.
“Thank you so much Uruha-sa- I mean Uruha~!” Kai jumped at Uruha and gave him a bone crushing hug. It was literally bone crushing. Compared to the brunet Kai had a well built body.
“Ge- Get off of m- me. Can’t. Breathe. Ne- Need air”
Hearing the other boy voice his discomfort Kai let him go.
“Ohh my gosh. So-Sorry! Are you alright?”
Uruha gasped for air like a fish deprived of water.
“You think? Of course I’m not. What are you? The Hulk’s son?”
“Allow me to perform CPR! No I’m not but that would be pretty cool.” Kai apologetically bowed and then tried laying the other down.
“No you won’t!” Uruha said trying to escape from the naive boy’s hold and succeeded. He glared at Kai.
“Are you stupid or are you just thick?” the brunet questioned.
Kai opened his mouth to reply.
“Don’t answer that! Is there any thing else you want to me to do?”
Kai shook his head from side to side.
“Then get going.”
“Thanks again Takashima-san!” Kai brightly smiled and walked away.
Uruha sighed. He didn’t get why and how did a boy like Kai catch Aoi’s attention.
“Who needs a CPR here?”
“NO ONE. For how long have you been here Yuu?”
“Not long. I just got here a while ago. This is the second time I’ve heard you raise your voice other than the times when we’re alone and I’m inside you.” Aoi stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Uruha’s waist.
Uruha blushed at both the raven’s gesture and words.
“Were you trying to touch my pet again?”
“Again?! Yuu I’d never- aahh” Aoi had gripped the younger boy’s hair in one hand, tilting his head to the side making Uruha wince in pain.
“Know your place Kouyou. Stay out of this. You aren’t needed. Not yet” Saying that he loosened his hold and stepped back.
Know your place? Stay out of this? You aren’t needed? Was Aoi indirectly saying he was useless? Was he calling him worthless? Was he too boring for him? All these thoughts ran through the brunet’s head. No. No he wouldn’t. Aoi would never leave him. Aoi did say that he’d need him later. With that one thought Uruha pushed aside the other disturbing ones. The thought of Aoi leaving him was something he could not digest.
Moody was not the word. Unpredictable. Yuu Shiroyama was unpredictable. Just like him. Just like Uruha.
“Kai wants to see you in Sakura Park at four tomorrow.”
The two boys walked.
Kai wanted to meet up with him? Now wasn’t that a surprise. This just made things easier for him. After what happened he thought he’d have to wait for a month or two until his next ‘coincidental’ encounter. A predator had to make sure not to scare away their prey. Is that the reason why Kai was talking to Uruha earlier? Deep down inside Aoi knew he was the only one Uruha ever had his eyes on. He started to feel guilty for his actions towards the other boy who was walking by his side. When he looked up he caught a girl pass them by suggestively eyeing him. He didn’t fail to notice Uruha glaring daggers at her. Aoi winked at the girl. Blood boiling with jealousy Uruha quickly gripped at the other’s hand tight and fastened their pace going to the nearest isolated place. He’d deal with that girl later. He pushed Aoi up against the wall and smashed their lips together. The kiss was harsh and didn’t last for long. He then left a trail of wet kisses all over Aoi’s neck and then harshly bit making the older boy yelp. He did the same thing on a few other places until he was sure Aoi’s pale skin was marred all over. He then looked at his work of art appreciatively.
“U-Uruha… Why?” Aoi meekly spoke trying his best to look as innocent as possible. The only things missing were a halo and a pair of white fluffy wings.
“Drop the act.” Uruha saw right through the other’s façade with ease. That bastard knew he was there next to him and yet dared to hit on someone else.
“Is Uruha-sama jelly?” Aoi’s ohh so innocent face morphed into a more sinister one. His lips formed a playful smirk.
“Think whatever you want.” Annoyed Uruha turned away.
“I’d like to think that you just felt the same I feel all the time when I see you with someone else.”
At hearing that Uruha’s eyes widened. The school bell rang.
“We better get going. Are you going to stand there all day long?” Aoi asked raising an eyebrow.
“Of course not” Uruha replied and followed his raven.
When school was over Kai was interrogated by a very inquisitive Reita. His friend had his arms crossed gazing at him suspiciously.
“For the last time I did not go see anyone”
“You can’t lie to me Kai”
Reita was awfully nosy for someone without a nose Kai thought. Maybe for his friend’s next birthday he could donate him one.
“You went to see Aoi didn’t you?”
“No I did not”
“Yes you did”
“Who is Aoi?” Ruki was silent the entire time but after hearing Reita say a name he wasn’t familiar with his curiosity got the best of him.
“No one Ruki. No one”
“Buy me Kitkat and you’ll be forgiven Kai” Reita decided to let the other go. For now. He didn’t want Ruki to get involved.
“What?”
“Buy. Me. KitKat”
“And why would I do that?”
“Cause I won’t talk to you until you buy me KitKat Kai. Ever”
“Fine then” With that Kai walked off leaving an open mouthed Reita and a flippant Ruki behind.
A/N: I was going to post this earlier but I wasn't satisfied with what I wrote. Tbh I'm not satisfied with the previous chapter either. I think I'll re-write it. Are people still reading this?
