I've started up classes again, and the one I'm currently taking (LAST ONE BEFORE I ABSOLUTELY MUST DECIDED WHAT I AM DOING) is requiring me to give weekly speeches about different topics. So, naturally I've been a little overwhelmed with presentation preparations. So far, I've talked about myself, how awesome Jonathan L. Howard is, 10 ways to score free food for a week, the fact that pit bulls are NOT BY BREED STANDARD dogs prone to violence (especially toward humans), and am now in the middle of crafting not only a demonstrative speech on how to self edit but also one detailing how awful health insurance companies can be. And then I've got to think of something to discuss for 10 minutes in two weeks. I'm leaning toward something to do with feminism and how the negative stigma associated not only affects the movement but also women in general -- such as making them hesitant to even describe themselves as being a feminist.
Note of interest: being a feminist does not mean you hate the cock. You can actually be quite fond of it and still support gender equality. Chauvinism is not limited to men.
Anyway, in addition to all of that stuff, I've been doing a lot of house sitting. And not a lot of writing.
Yeah. No novel questions, please. I've pretty much scrapped everything in that regard for the time being.
So, in ADDITION to all of that, I've been training myself for a mini triathlon next year. Two miles of running, quarter mile of swimming, and twelve miles of biking. It's been going fairly well, I feel. I definitely need to step things up a bit though. Also, why the hell haven't I lost any freakin' weight? *kicks elliptical*
But yeah, that right there is my current status. So... since it's been awhile and I'm too lazy to scroll through journals (not to mention I'm at work and the computer is kinda crappy for internet usage), fill me in on how you all are doing! Spare no details. Write me epic length stories.
