Oh, my ... yes. Leigha, you're gonna be shackled to my side for the next six months or so. Hope you don't mind. I promise to feed you.
Okay, due to this conversation and the other one, I'm gonna have to research clothing styles a little more closely to determine whether or not I need to worry about a corset. (Isn't it funny that I'm hinging the housing situation on a piece of freakin' underwear?)
The doctor is living on Harley street, which from what I understand is a) common practice for doctors, and b) has smaller sized, nice houses that also double as the practice. So, maybe I DON'T need a butler character at all ... although it'd be funny to have him be the assassin/thief so that it can legitimately be said "the butler did it". *snickers*
Yup, already knew that about the Irish, which is why I decided on it. It'll create some tension between her and the aristocratic necromancer. And no, the doctor doesn't care in the least. She could be African for all he cares. He's a bit of an eccentric, and not just because of his favorite pastime. His parents left him quite a bit of money that he never really touches, he doesn't like going out to social events, and he's a bit of an unintentional asshole in that he's painfully blunt. The whole point of the story is to kind of see him grow out of that a bit and realize there's more going on than reversing death.
