Meaning of Life
So how has krystal been? Its been some time since I decided to sit down and write a real entry. I’ll have another one soon about the skirts im making, actually I’ll prolly include them in this entry, but u’ll have to wait till I feel like putting the pictures up.
Hmm, whats new since last time? well for those of you who didn’t know, Jason and I are engaged. We are still just as thrilled, but I’ve finally backed off on trying to decide what I want to do in 2 years for a wedding that isn’t for another 3 years (well less) away. which I think makes Jason glad, cause I was prolly driving him crazy... at least a little, and you know I’m right hunny. I’ve gotten back into going to the gym with mom, which makes me really happy. It’s the only time that we can say that we will definitely get to spend time together, which of course she is thrilled with. I’ve become a little more honest with her about things, knowing that even if she thinks im wrong about something, or even if we fight over it, she will still love me and support my choices when all is said and done.
Now of course the same can’t be said about dad and me. But I think we’ve gotten better too. Mostly cause we hardly see each other, and when we do he always hugs me, which I grin and bear. I figure I’d rather him feel good by thinking we are best friends again, than have him and I fighting. Actually I’ve ended up asking mom how he’s doing, like we don’t live in the same house, which makes him feel good when I don’t see him for a week and mom lets him I still care. Oh that reminds me, when I get up from my nap today, I need to gather the trash.
Jason and I, since we put wedding planning on hold, have decided to learn sign language. I actually knew a bit already, but now we plan to learn all of it. We have learned how to sign family and people and pronouns, and I taught myself how to sign ‘I want a peanut butter and jelly sandwich’ and how to sign ‘you are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray.’ I have another song I plan on learning to sign from beginning to end, and a poem I wrote, so that I can sign them to Jason, but that’s gonna take time.
Oh, I’ve been reading a lot again! God I love to read! I have already read 4 books since school started; I’m on book 6 now. I bought 2 books the other day, and I still have about 10 more books that have been waiting for me to get to them. Plus mom plans on giving me a $100 gift card to b&n!!!! I fell bad though cause I get so into a book once I start it that I’ve been reading at night, just as Jason and I go to bed, and I have to leave his light on until I get to a stopping point. I’m sorry hunny!
Ooooh, I got to see Jason’s family again last Saturday. His family STILL loves me, and his great grandmother who apparently doesn’t like many people, fell in love with me. She kept talking about how lucky Jason was and how much she liked me even after I left. She even apologized to Jason and I for selling her house last year, cause she would have given it to us!!! His family is so wonderful. I get to hang out with them some more this Saturday too. A group of about 11 of us are going to the MD Renn Fest. Its gonna be Jason, Mr. George, Steven, his Grandfather and Grandmother, his Aunt Dee and cousin Matt, Kyle, my Mom and Dad, and me. Im even gonna dress up, mom, Jason and me.
I’ve been doing well in school so far. Jenn and I get to see each other every tue, wed and thur. I cant wait till her and marc’s Halloween party! I still have yet to finish my costume. Jason and I have next years costumes already planned. And I only have a few weeks left time my birthday! I cant wait to go to the wine festival!!! Yeahs!
Welp, I think im off to get my nap finally. I freaking need one.
