the need to feel small.
I miss the beach. haha Ive been away from home for like two days but I miss the beach. Theres something about standing at the shoreline at sunset/sunrise and raising you arms and realizing how small you truly are. That you are TRULY not what the world revolves around. The ocean reminds us that days come and go, that hurts happen, that battles will be won and lost, that hearts will be broken, that people will enter and leave this earth, but the waves continue to lap against the sand. The rhythmic crashing and rising of the waves remind us that life goes on, that we simply must move forward, because there is no other option. But most importantly the ocean reminds us of a HUGE, powerful omnipotent God who controls it. I miss the ocean. but i love the mountains.
