That's me in the shirt!
Alright, I'll speed through this the best I can.
I went to a wedding on Saturday. It was really fancy and really cold. I ate a lot of vegetables, cookies, and some chicken. I wore my new dress.
That night, the three precious Js stayed over. We headed to the zoo the next day. I had a good time. I took three cameras with me and filled all of them with pictures. (I might edit this entry later with some pictures) The film in my 35mm ripped and was ruined. This made my great day turn into an okay day. But! I saw some really awesome animals, like sea dragons. We ended up getting lost in Pittsburgh for an hour due to my dad not knowing the city. This made my okay day good. (notice the leaps)
I dont remember Monday.
Yesterday I went to see Modest Mouse, The Walkmen, and Wolf Parade at some strange venue near Pittsburgh. IT WAS AWESOME. I liked it a lot because Josh and Erin were there, and they have become my two favorite people this summer. I've never heard of Wolf Parade until last night, but I really enjoyed them even though their one singer was obnoxious and typical. The Walkmen were fantastic and they played what I wanted to hear. Modest Mouse was wonderful and I'm so glad I finally got to see them. I was worried that they would only play songs from the new album, but they actually played a wide variety of things. (they opened with 3rd Planet, which I totally called) There was a lot of smoking going on. A good portion of it being w33d. I'm pretty sure this wasnt cool.
I stayed at Josh's house and we watched Finding Nemo like we did 2 months ago. Once again, not much attention was paid to the movie. 2 months. Yep.
My mom also had some thyroid tests done and we're waiting for the results. I'm hoping they're what we want. And I'm hoping school wont be as bad as it is expected to be. I saw my homeroom list today, and I'm positive I will hate and ignore everyone. And I bet my locker is by the heavy kid who failed last year. Like I said, I'm hoping it wont be so bad.
Right now I am working on those autumn mix CDs and wishing more of you wanted one because I REALLY WANTED TO MAKE THINGS. Expect them soon if you gave me your address. Later I think I will eat yellow squash from the garden, go for a walk, and possibly drive around and take pictures. If anyone is willing, I'd really like to play basketball.
What I reallllly want is the ugliest green and pink shirt ever made and the entire fall Anthropologie collection.
This was definitely NOT speedy.
