Nothing in the job front, as of yet. I'm hoping to hear something next week. However, this isn't what this post is about.
In this world of instant information, nothing is sacred. We have people making cartoons about religious figures, people stating notions that are anti-government, and the like. The blogosphere is the same way. No matter how you try to hide it, someone will find it. What's the big deal about this? There are ideas and notions that are private. However, posting things online is hardly a way to secure your feelings.
So, in essence, if you do not want someone to know something, don't put it on the internet. It's easy to get information. No matter how well secured you may think it is, there will be always a way to get to it.
The reason for this little tirade is that someone has recently wrote something that was specifically aimed at myself and a couple other of close friends. I won't give the name of who wrote it nor the name of the blog. I will I put the segment that was addressed to me:
"also i would like to have a social life that involves me going places and doing things with guys who are a. not like my brother b. not my ex boyfriend c. cute d. all of the above."
If you don't want my company, please, tell me. That way, I can go and spend my time with people who want to hang out or do something better than that.
Remember kids: The internet may be a place where an exchange of ideas can occur, but personal thoughts can also be found out.
Fatally Yours,
