[There's the image of a gloved hand poking at the communicator for a moment, and then what appears to be a view of someone's hip as the device is given up on. Very audible grumbling is heard.]
-and damnit, I haven't even been able to find a restaurant in this creepy place, let alone people! What gives?! If someone's going to dump a beautiful maiden like myself in a place like this, the least they can do is pick up a dinner bill! When I get my hands on them, I'll make them regret this! [She lets out a distinct growl.] Even without my magic, they're in for a world of hurt. And why the hell isn't that working, anyway? It's not even- Gah, it's too frustrating to think about right now! And of all the times for that jellyfish-brains to wander off, he picks now?!
[She must have thrown her hands up in exasperation, because it blurs for a couple of moments before focusing on a young woman's face peering suspiciously at the screen.] And what the hell is this thing, anyway? Doesn't seem very useful, whatever it is. [A grumble, eying it appraisingly for a moment.] It doesn't even look like I could pawn this thing off for much without some major haggling...
