I just sneaked out of my second strip club in Brazil. Coincidentally, this also marks the second strip club I've been to in Brazil, and even more remarkable is the fact that this is the second strip club I've ever been to in my entire life. 100% record.
Basically, Kim and I didn't feel like paying $3.50 for a caipirinha drink that was basically all pinga, so we drink it all and left without paying anything. Score one for democracy! The good news is that this particular bar is only two blocks from my house, so I can always go back and get more free drinks. Not a bad deal at all.
Otherwise, a host of sorrows. I've already decided not to go to class this week, and give myself a well undeserved holiday. So I'll just go to a different part of town and bar every night. The Italian district is only a few blocks from my house. It could become a new Japanland. I haven't done as good of a job at exploring the city I actually live in as much as every other city in Brazil, so I figure it's time to catch up. We'll see how it goes.
