[ Rapunzel's house is in a state of disarray. It's just her and her "husband" now, but that didn't stop her from attempting to paint the house.
Yes. Paint the house.
She hadn't bothered with scaffolding; after all, her hair was strong enough to do the job for her! But she had gotten the paint and the materials! After all, white was just... Well, it was a little too bland for her. It needed some colour and some life! And she was determined to give it to her lovely little home. After all, if she was going to live there, she might as well be comfortable.
Light purple seemed like a good start.
But that morning, she had woken up and decided that working on the house was a bad idea. Bright purple? Who had thought of that colour? It was so tacky, so...different. And the last thing she wanted to do was be different.
So, the project has been put on hold and the house seems half-finished, still partially white with an unfinished first layer of purple paint sitting on top of it. The paint buckets have been stored away neatly in the garage, but she's not sure what to do with it. After all, isn't this the man of the house's job! Repainting over the purple would be a challenge for her, especially when she has a fruit salad or two to make for the Fourth of July Potluck. ]
This just won't do! What will the women at church think when they see this? Just what was I thinking...?
