Movie Night
Have seen two movies recently.
One was the documentary about the horse whisperer, Buck Bucannan (entitled "Buck"). I wholeheartedly recommend it. You get to watch him at his horse starting (not "breaking") clinics which he teaches nine months of the year and you're given a peek at what his (abusive) childhood was like. It's funny and interesting and touching. Even if you don't want to be a cowboy when you grow up, you'll enjoy it. Robert Redford is interviewed and you'll find out how Buck had a BIG hand in helping with the movie (The Horse Whisperer). And stay for the credits.
The other was the new Brad Pitt/Sean Penn movie, Tree of Life. Damn! Damn! Damn! This has got to be one of the weirdest movies I've seen in decades. My husband thought it was pretentious and I haven't made up my mind yet. But, damn . . . it's strange!! If you see it, let me know what you think!
