When I called the vet's office this (Monday) morning at 8:30, they still had not managed to get my black feral kitty back into his cage. However, while I was on the phone with them, they did! So I made a hasty trip and brought him back. When I opened his cage, he didn't even look back. Bless his heart. Will he have a tale to tell around the
