[Aradia's explorations have finally brought her to the 14th floor and wow, she has never seen this much equipment anywhere that isn't the meteor lab.

It takes her a moment to notice the human sprawled on the couch. When she does she wanders over, dragging over one of the beanbags to sit on]

Are you okay?

[The concern for him from strangers is actually pretty touching, and it's that thought that lets him manage another weak smile]

I just got here today. Everything's sort of a shock right now, and hell if I know how to handle it.

[She gives a sympathetic smile in response]

I can understand that. I'm still new myself, although some have said I've been here before. I think it's okay to not know how to feel about it all...not that you need my permission for that.

[Give him a moment, his mind was just blown]

Wait, you've been here before? And don't remember it? Can they even do that?

Apparently so, though I can't possibly claim to know how. Although maybe time shenanigans are involved...I'm sure it wouldn't be the first time.

[He files the thought away to be considered later. For now it seems silly to press the issue]

So when did you get here?

As far as I know, yesterday. And there's still a lot I have left to explore.

[He nods in agreement before shuddering as he remembers some of the floors he passed on the way to this one]

I wouldn't be so quick to explore. Did you see that weird bloody floor?

No, I don't think so but then this is the highest floor I've come to so far. And honestly, some didn't seem so interesting so I didn't stay too long.

Oh! If you start at the top and work down, there's this floor and just... yeah. It's not nice.

Then I suppose I should thank you for warning me so it at least doesn't come as too much of a shock.

[He winces - even if she knows it's coming, that damn floor still seems pretty shocking. But she seems tough enough. Probably. Maybe.]

Then we'll call it even, for your talking to me. Anything nasty surprises heading down?

[Well, she's not exactly unused to seeing blood but she appreciates the warning all the same]

Really? I didn't think I was doing all that much by talking to you...I just don't know many people yet and you looked like you could use a distraction.

[She considers his question]

Well, the ninth floor's pretty dark...I didn't really spend much time in there. And you might want to be careful of the fifth floor - those viewports are...not something you look through lightly.

[Pause]

Also my wings don't work on the eleventh floor but I'm not sure if that'll matter to you.

[It's such a good day to be Yosuke - his worldview just keeps getting broader with ever person he meets]

[Forgive him for a moment, but he just has to gape]

You mean those wings aren't decoration?! I just thought they were part of the outfit or something!

Oh, no! They work. See!

[And she stands so she can flutter her wings, lifting herself off the ground just enough to demonstrate that yes, those wings work]

Though admittedly, I'm still trying to get the hang of them.

[Holy crap she can fly]

[She's flying. Right in front of him]

[He stares like an idiot for a moment before smiling like one]

That's incredible! I've never seen anyone who could actually fly before! And I've seen some crazy stuff.
