[Chidori senses the approach before the question comes. Because she senses a Persona user- one she's never sensed before- and turns, expecting a S.E.E.S. armband and a confrontation.

What she gets is someone who looks astoundingly like Minato but- the voice is different, and the cacophony she usually senses from his multiple Personae isn't present. So cautiously, she inclines her head in a nod, expression impassive.]

...of course. I take it you have just arrived?

[He nods] That is correct. Have you been here long?

I was here for a time before, then returned to my world for a brief period... I have only just returned myself.

[She's giving him the most scrutinizing of looks, wondering if he can't sense what she is as well. Then again, only certain types of personae were capable of that, so she could not blame him if he couldn't. But he didn't seem to be S.E.E.S, and he didn't seem to know her, so that made her all the more suspicious.]

I would not advise attracting too much attention here.

[No, Noato is unable to sense that Chidori is a persona user, but he can certainly see the look she's giving him. She didn't trust him, not that he could blame her they've only just met, but it was more than just that. She seemed suspicious of him, but for what reason? Color him interested Chidori.]

You returned to your own world? [Was this tower capable of manipulating time like Sphere...?] Hm, that's rather interesting considering we've been told our wolds have been destroyed. What was it like -- specifically what condition was it in? Was it in ruins or was it for all intents and purposes what you would deem to be normal?

[A pause] Has something happened to who have brought attention to themselves?

I do not believe they meant it in terms of the actual planet- but rather in terms of civilizations. But yes, I did return.

[She pauses here for a moment to consider the question, lips turning slightly downward in distaste at remembering the state of things.]

It was like... as if the entire world had been burned from the inside out. Like one of those terrible post-apocalyptic movies. It was rather like that.

[She considers the next question, and then shrugs.]

I do not know if it was exactly because they brought attention to themselves. But some here were experimented on. Altered physically and in terms of their abilities. It was... quite unpleasant to behold.

[Naoto can understand that feeling. He witnessed something similar...]

I see. To your knowledge has anyone else returned to their home world? [That... that stops him in his tracks.] Experiments...? Would you elaborate a bit more?

I am not certain- you may have to ask the tower at large to find an answer for that.

[She frowns a little, eyes closing for a moment, and then lets out a quiet breath.]

They were altered- their bodies, their powers. One child was made to look like a nightmare, one young man seemed to have had his entire face removed... It was all very... disconcerting.

[... Just who were they up against here?]

Has this occurred on more than one occasion?

[Chidori doesn't know, but that doesn't make her distaste for the tower lessen any.]

Not that I am currently aware of- but then I have not been here as long as some. There are other people here in the tower that may have better answers about that for you.
