Now, in all her few days of being in this infernal prison, Rose was more glad to hear the sound of an instrument playing than anything else she had experienced. Perhaps even more glad than running into Spain or Canada, not that she'd ever admit to it. Whoever had put her here had provided her with something to listen to music with, but nothing to play it on and that drove her a bit mad, to be honest.

So when she wound up hearing some poor unfortunate soul playing away at their bass guitar, it sort of made her both a little more comfortable that there was other sources of music within the tower, and a little sad that she was unable to bring any talents of her own to the table.

It wouldn't have been courteous of her to just barge into the room from where the music originated, but when she saw a rather pale girl walk out of the room, she pursed her lips and hurried along down the corridor. Part of her thought it might have been a better idea to turn around and walk the other way, but she was a stubborn one, this England, so donning a smile, she matched her pace with the girl's.

"Uehm, I hope you don't find this too terribly rude, but ueh, was that you playing the music last night? Because if it was, it was rather fabulous like." said Rose.

The girl matching her pace made Marceline stop. She knew she had been loud but she hadn't really counted on other residents commenting, except maybe to tell her to hush. The compliment pulled a happy smile from her; she always loved to hear things like that.

"Hey, it's cool. Glad you liked it, though I gotta say, I was hoping one of the bosses of this place would come say something. I wanted some answers." Even with the grin on her face, her tone was that of someone facing minor disappointment, and the irritation of being new and knowing nothing. "You been here long enough to know what would get their attention?"
