Romeo smiled politely at the man as he walked past but his eyes widened at the creature. "What is that?" He blushed a bit at his own rudeness and glanced at the man.

"I'm sorry sir, I just never saw a creature like that before."

"Huh?"

Phillip almost kept going, but the apology sunk in deeper than the first statement. People were around- but not ones aware of pseudo-sentient memories. A low-level test facility?

"This is..." But, he stalled out on answering. "Where are we?"

"Sorry sir did you just wake up?" Romeo smiled at him, "You are in a tower, it's a bit scary and you have a note in your room saying your world ended but that's not true!" He added quickly in case the man got sad.

"We've been brought here by bad kidnappers and we haven't worked out how to escape yet."

Tower, world ended? That couldn't have to do with the Organization...could it?

Phillip's face quickly turned neutral at 'kidnappers'. Well, it explained the collar devices. He didn't need the Gaia Library to work out that something was wrong here.

"I was in the middle of a rescue. I can't stay here."

...and just as quickly as he said that, Phillip was off down the hallway. He'd find an exit, surely

Romeo blinked after him and then made up his mind and followed him. "There really isn't any way out sir," he felt a bit bad at saying that, because he should be helping to keep peoples spirits up. But maybe it was better he knew, than if he tried all day to get out before realising he couldn't.

Phillip kept moving, vest whipping around when he turned or jerked too quick. Someone was in a hurry. "There has to be. How would people get in if there wasn't an entrance?"

Phillip spotted the down-going stairs, and heaved a sigh, leaning against the wall. Okay, this place was seeming a lot bigger than he'd anticipated- legging it was more Shoutaro's sthict. "Are there any areas you aren't allowed? How many floors are there?"

"I don't know they just arrive in the night sir!" This man was a little bit scary but Romeo figured if he just kept being polite it would be alright. "There's some bits, like a lift on the bottom floor that's locked that we can't go in. But we are allowed everywhere else. Theres twenty three floors," he had counted, just after the new floors had appeared. "Three of them have bedrooms in them."

Twenty three floors? And no windows, that Phillip could see. However, given this kid didn't look the least bit Japanese-

"...fascinating." Maybe an awkward time for that, but he couldn't help but be intrigued by the improbability of the situation. "Maybe underground? This can't be the Organization..."

Romeo shook his head, "No sir, it's on top of the ground, there are two floors with no walls. But really really high up! What is the organization?"

"Floor with no walls?" Structurally impossible, and even more intriguing than he'd thought. But- damnit, he didn't have time to marvel at architecture! Phillip didn't answer about the organization, because it was just better to not get civilians involved.

"Perhaps...what floors have no walls?"

"The... twentieth one and the tenth... no," he recounted, "eleventh one sir." Romeo didn't repeat his question, knowing that there were some things adults just didn't like answering.

That made it even more interesting- they seemed to be at intermittent stages in the tower's structure.

"Have people tried to leave through those floors?"

Romeo blinks, "I don't know. I think it would be dangerous sir they are really high up."
